Chocolate Day Freebies in Denver

Every July 7 is Chocolate Day, a time to celebrate the rich treat that has been around for more than 2,000 years. Originally, chocolate was consumed in liquid form, and then, only by the rich. Powdered chocolate was discovered in 1828 by a Dutch chemist and the chocolate bar was unveiled in 1847 by Joseph Fry.

Chocolate Day is a time to celebrate the historic sweet, whether you sample chocolate at candy stores or restaurants or you opt to make a chocolate dessert at home. To celebrate Chocolate Day, some places offer discounts or freebies on chocolate. Fun City, for example, is offering $1 off their brownie bites.
