National Ice Cream Day Freebies in Denver

Although Fun City does not dish out ice cream, we sure do enjoy the cold treat. Every July is National Ice Cream Month, so why not enjoy some delicious ice cream before you head over to Fun City this month? In addition to National Ice Cream Month, the third Sunday in July is National Ice Cream Day each year. Both holidays were established by President Ronald Reagan in 1984.

This year, National Ice Cream Day falls on Sunday, July 21, and the city of Denver is celebrating! Here are some places to sample free or discounted ice cream on July 21. When you're finished, why not head over to Fun City for some miniature golf, laser tag and bowling?

1) The EDGE Restaurant and Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver is celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a Sundae Bar. It is included in the cost of the restaurant's three-course brunch, which costs $28 per person. In addition, leading up to National Ice Cream Day, the Edge is offering a free scoop of ice cream with any lunch purchase from July 15 through July 20.
2) On July 21, the first 200 customers at all Cold Stone Creamery locations throughout Denver will receive one free scoop of ice cream.
