National Martini Day in Denver

June 19 is National Martini Day, a day set aside to celebrate and sample martinis! Some people celebrate the holiday by going out for martinis, while others experiment with martini recipes from the comforts of their own homes. Still others go out and take classes centered around the techniques of making a martini.

Gone are the days of the simple martini. Today, the traditional gin and vermouth martini has evolved to include the vodka martini, as well as assorted flavors like apple and chocolate.
